Since Sept 07, my BB it has been replaced twice by Verizon because the USB port broke. Now, I am out of 1st year warranty and the insurance company is charging me $50.00 to replace.
I do regular backups and pride myself on being gentle to my BB but I am upset with not being able to backup my applications (specifically notes, tasks, and password keeper) wirelessly between devices (as I can not connect the one to my PC!!). I think this has to be a defect. Any ideas????

I'm on my fourth 8800--the first two had the USB port problem, and the warranty replacement for #2 was DOA when it reached me, so it was immediately replaced by the one I'm using now, #4. The last episode was almost enough to make me consider switching to (brace yourselves) an iPhone. I agree, it appears to be a defect, and from what I've seen, affects 88xx devices more than anything else.

I have a 8800 that has usb connection issues to. Very annoying the bold seems to have a much better usb port...fwiw

3rd here....piss me off...and when the Schmuck at the Telus dealer tell me he's doing me a favor but ordering me a new unit... I feel like popping his zits with my fist...
