Question Lost BB Messenger for OS 4.5

Please Login to Remove!

When I originally loaded 4.5.0.89, I chose not to have BB Messenger. I used Desktop 4.6 for loading. Now I want to load BB Messenger, but when I connect to the PC and go into the desktop and click on application loader and then add/remove apps, all I can see are third party apps. There use to be a selection screen for apps that came with the OS, but it is no longer available. I tried reinitiating the OS 4.5.0.89 exe. program to load everything into the desktop manager, but I still don't see any of the OS apps. What should I do? I don't want to wipe the phone if I don't have to.
Thanks,
Bruce

Did you click on the advanced button after the apploader. And do you have the OS installed on your pc. And make sure you don't have auto update set on the DM.

If you mean the Advanced button after chosing Update Applications, yes I did click on it, but only was shown third party apps that I had loaded. I downloaded and reinstalled the OS on my PC already. Where is the auto update setting on the 4.6 DM?

Re- install the DM and click on Modify go through the steps and uncheck the box that says auto update. Then Make sure all the vendor files are deleted.

Problem solved. I forget to delete vendor.xml after I reinstalled the OS on the PC.
Thanks for your help.
