Is there a way to make the 7100 beep at regular intervals (say... every 5 minutes) when I have a waiting message (voicemail, email, sms)? I used to have a phone... way back when... that would do that.

yes..

go to "profiles" and select the action you wish to modify.

its really self explainitory...

i dont know about the timing thing.. your BB will sound multiple times for messages in cue, but every five minutes.. i dont think so.

it would really wear your battery down to have it dinging every five minutes you get an email... if you use your BB as much as i do.. i never leave it alone for 5 minutes anyways.

When I look at profiles, I see these options:

TUNE: [tune_name]
VOLUME: [Mute, Low, Medium, High or Escalating]
NO. OF BEEPS: [1, 2 or 3]
REPEAT NOTIFICATION: [None or LED Flashing]

Is this to what you were referring?
