Default Drop the Bold yet?

Please Login to Remove!

No doubt...knocked the berry off my waistline, and it dropped onto some concrete pavers three feet below me. It was in its CASE. Not a scratch. Not a Dent. Not a reboot. Its as if it didnt even happen.

Unbelievable. It was in the original hard leather case it came with from ATT. Good hard belt clip sleep case...keep case if you can, cus if you drop that sucker on hard grown, it ought to survive.

halleluiah. I hadn't even had it a week, and its already been semi-tested in the drop factor.

ANYONE else?

Bounced it off a linoleum floor the first day I got it. Battery cover popped open but that was all.

The batter cover came lose at the bottom and got stuck half open at the top. It was a pain to get it all the way off without breaking anything.

Oh yes, dropped it several times. It bounces! The battery door opens, battery falls out. I think the cheap plastic chrome was more of a shock absorber.
I think it will take more of a beating then my curve did.

Wirelessly posted (by Milton and his stapler.)

I believe horizon dropped his from his desk and it destroyed it. I'm not sure where it hit but he told me it was broke.

dropped it yesterday onto my hardwood floor, battery cover popped off, would not stay latched...had it only a week, so I took it back to the ATT store where i got it and talked to the same sales rep and he put a new back cover on and I was out the door in 10 minutes.

Angry drop mine the first few days

Hi All,

drooped mine the first few days. didn't even had a chance to buy a protector or something.

It drooped maybe 2-3 feet from my hands to a stone floor when I picked it up it reboot and on the left side the LCD was blank at the width of like 4 lines it shows like red green lines running down from top to bottom.

I was told my only option is to replace the LCD display.

I'm very disappointed in the bold. I have my 8830 for 2 1/2 years drooped it hundreds of time never any thing happened to it.

am I the only unlucky person here?

Mine hit the pavement two days ago, but no issues and only one tiny little mark in the edge.

Dropped mine back in August in a club on the dance floor from a height of 3 feet haha. Dented (5 mm) my top right corner good and lost a bit of the colour there as well but it's not as bad. Not round like the other corner haha a bit flat.

Beside the right convenience key small little indent maybe from the same incident not to sure.

Dropped it twice and both times rebooted. Second time battery came out.

No silicon cases I hate them. But I do use a holster
