Default Disabling Mass Storage Support/Media Transfer Protocol

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I searched but didn't find much...I saw the thread about disabling the event log and it seemed to help a little.

However, I saw a HUGE improvement after going into options>memory and disabling Media Transfer Protocol and Mass Storage Support. Like, an instantaneous night and day difference in the speed of this thing.

I don't care much because I have a card reader I can do all my file transfers to/from and I rarely hook up my BB to DM except for OS loading or restore/backup.

Anyone who hasn't done it...give it a try...

fyi... you didnt "disable the event log." what you did was filter the view and HIDE all messages. theyre still there, and still being logged. this is just some very bad information that was posted here by someone without a single clue

I tried this not sure it is really making a difference, maybe the placebo effect for these others.
