Hubby bought me a new and unlocked At&t red pearl. It wont download the service book, and I have no browser icon unless I go to switch application, then it tells me that I have no service book entries, and At&t says they have sent them, I am just not getting them. Has anyone experienced this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a SIM card, with a BlackBerry Data Plan on it, in the Pearl? You must have a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to get the Service Books.

Yes I do have a sim card in and the BB data plan from ATT.
they show me in the BB network, but for some reason my phone isn't receiving the data they are trying to send it.

Since you have a unlocked device try a sim card from someone else. If that one works the problem is probably your sim card like NJBlackBerry said.

had sim card tested at ATT store today. It is fine, so I guess it is the phone. We are gonna send it back and get another one.
