im a new to this whole blackberry .. i currently have a mac computer and i am wondering how to transfer my music to my storm.. the cd rom they gave me is not compatible what can i do??

I never tried to install the software from the cd. You can download the mac version here:

i tried to download that software.. i downloaded it and it told me to restart my computer and then nothing came on.. im hopeless

I use BB media sync with my mac. You can also use Pocketmac, that is if you can get it too work. Go to the mac users forum and there is a thread about how to sync your BB with a mac

how do i get media sync? im sorry i am not very high tech i just figured out how 2 store contacts lol

Its on the BB website. Just google it and you will find it. It works for Itunes only and syncs playlists only too. very basic, but it gets the job done, to a degree.

Personally, I just drag and drop the song I want, straight from my iTunes Library onto my media card's Music folder. When you connect the BB to your Mac the BB should ask if you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode. Click on Yes and the BB should mount to your desktop like any removable drive.

Do keep in mind that songs bought via iTunes won't play on your BB. The Digital Rights Management crap-ola won't allow it. Only songs you imported from CDs or music you removed the DRM from will play on the BB.

Media Sync for Mac -- it's a beta and it will only sync NON-DRM music (in other words if you bought a regular iTunes MP3 -- that music will not sync)

omg thank you all so much ! i got it working ! i also had a few other questions since im in experienced with this whole black berry..

1) how do i make the digital clock as a screen saver?
2) when i wanna text a phone number .. i can only press one number and it goes right back to letters how to i keep it on numbers?

and its horrible verizon charges $10.00 a month for vz navigator and 2.99 for visual voice it was included in the iphone package

1) When you plug your device into Dock or Cable you get the clock, to the best of my knowledge you cannot use it as a "screen saver" without plugging it in
2) Hold down the number button for 2 seconds it will num lock it, hit it again when you are done typing numbers.

I would also like to add that I prefer the Missing Sync for Blackberry which can be found here. It is worth the $$ in my opinion.
