I regularly monitor a number of websites for changes/updates etc. One of the things I have noticed is that in order to see the web page in its latest form I have to load the site and then click refresh.

While using web caching is normally a good thing, either on a BB or PC is there anyway I can turn that off so when I go to a site I know I am seeing the latest site info without having to ckick refresh everytime?

Thanks.

I don't think BB pulls pages from cache. It looks to me like it is always pulling a fresh page. Could be wrong about that, but that's what it seems to me.

On a pc, you can tell your browser to always pull a fresh page, but instructions for doing so depend on which browser you are using.

When you're going to the page, are you going from a bookmark? When you created the bookmark, there is an option for it to be 'available offline'. Perhaps that option was left checked (it's a default) and that's why you're always getting the last cached page....

Thanks

I go from a bookmark but I always uncheck the available offline option.

I may have discovered the answer. In have set up the option to synchronize every so often from within the bookmark options. Perhaps this will keep them "uptodate".

Thanks for the responses. It seems that the synchronise option in the individual bookmark seems to do the trick!!
