just wondering if anybody knows about that sprint software update that was gonna be launched for the curve...it provides mms and some other features....let me know if you all heard anything

I updated last night. No mms option. Sprint said it will appear when it is available. Rumor is sometime after january 15.

well havent heard that yet seeing is how i work here....it was suppose to have launched mid nov....but who knows with sprint

So it will appear without having to update the OS? Have you heard anything on when Sprint will support the 4.5 OS by chance?

see im not sure that is entirely true because i have never heard anything like that other then data apps to provision OTA....but then again if thats exactly what they do and make it a data app then yeah i can see that....but the whole supposed update was going to change the interface(im guessing the 8350i look) and add the mms along with other tweaks....but i dont know at this point if no one else does.......

MMS settings are sent to BB Devices as a service book, until Sprint gets with it and gets the service books set up it will not matter what OS you run, there will be no MMS.

As for the Sprint version of 4.5, there is a pre-release Sprint version floating around the web, it's version 4.5.0.119. Just run a google search.

I did the update last night. As I said I heard after the 15th. Never said it was fact. But seeing as tommorrow is the 15, anytime after that, no matter how long would not be untrue. I read it in a forum somewhere and sprint cs confirmed it is coming soon.
