Hi all,
I have the t-mobile 8320 and I've been having UMA problems for a long time and tried many suggestions on this board. The issue is that UMA keeps dropping down to EDGE when I'm making a phone call, and I have poor reception so half the time it drops the call completely. It's sporadic though, sometimes a phone call lasts for 10 mins+ on UMA, sometimes less than a minute.
I'm using the t-mobile branded WRT54G-TM. I've played with different wi-fi channels, updated firmware, messed with the settings as recommended here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/wifi...tml#post760244
all to no avail. The phone has been through many versions, now up to 4.5.0.124 and it's always been the same.

UMA works just fine at my workplace, so it's not my phone. I'm starting to think it might be Verizon DSL dropping UMA connections. I wouldn't put it past the b*stards. Is anyone else having problems with UMA on Verizon DSL?
