Default 8350i update!

I talked to a Nextel/Blackberry suport person last night about the MMS issue, it is a programming problem on the phone. Nextel and RIM are working on a new software release that will be ready in 5 to 7 days. There have been no new software releases or changed since the phones introduction, everyone has the same software. He also explained powering down instead of pulling the battery causes problems on their network. If you power down instead of pulling the battery so you receive the MMS the service books will then have issues with the Nextel network. The new update will include several fixes for the bugs but the main fix will be the MMS.

Today My blackberry went haywire and i had to go to the repair store to see if it can be fixed. i Called nextel care about 5 times and they had me to remove the battery, do a master reset, and they did something on their end and still didn't change a thing. Please be aware if your phone radio turns to off instead of NXTL, you stop receiving messages, and your blackberry email icon disappear then it can't be fixed. I can't press the button for messages or sms/mms, it gives a delay and then if you are in another application it just pops up. Almost like when your computer catches a virus. So now I am waiting on a brand new 8350i to be shipped and they will set it up in the store. By the way they say that you should be able to get sprint tv and music store. I pulled the information from the computers they have in the stores, I am not sure about all stores ave the little kiosk because this was a corporate store. But please pay attention when things start happening to this phone. Seems like the 7100i all over again.

This is why i returned mine and waiting for a software patch.
Random wifi
bluetooth hang ups
random dead and locked up unit
mms
speaker in and out
all issues i hope the new OS helps with . Just shipped my 2nd unit back. I feel bad for the saps standing inline in front of me in the store getting one for the first time.

I feel sorry for them too. The message that my phone is getting says," uncaught exception java.lang.nwipointerexception. Whatever that means I hope my new doesn't give me any problems. These phone are expensive and they give us crap. I should have just ended my contract.
