Default Phone Reboots over and over

Please Login to Remove!

I was updating my girlfriend's OS so she could have a mouse browser, video camera, etc and used the loader software that was on blackberry's website, not the one at the sticky where you download and run it, and everything seemed to go fine.

Then at the end it said "warnings happened" or something like that and it looked like it was trying to load from one of my blackberry curve's backup's on my external hard drive (which is connected).

Now the phone just reboots over and over. I had it connected and actually moved the ball and turned on wireless but the hour glass just spins forever now.

I plugged it back into that auto updater and it said everything is up to date, no action to take.

Suggestions?

Is there a media card in the device, remove it and see if you still have the same issue.

Trying that now, it seems like it runs out of memory or something then reboots. I just had it working fine (minus when I tried to change the font it spun for like 2 mins), but when I tried to open Media > photos, it rebooted.

Basically doing ANYTHING takes like 2-3 minutes now. Opening a menu, text, etc. Suggestions?

Let us know the status without the media card.

Same thing, she had to leave and I feel bad because its basically unuseable but at least she can make a call. No difference in speed. Everything just spins the hour glass.

Hmm, you said "warnings happened", I wonder what those warnings were or if they had an effect on the way it's acting.

You may want to try a wipe and clean install of the OS again to see if that clears the issue up.

Wirelessly posted (8130)

Try looking at the post in general discussions about freeing up memory. Also try formatting the SD card from the BB.

Look for old themes and apps that may not be compatible with a higher OS, assuming you have upgraded.
