Hey all, new poster, longtime lurker - I'm switching to a BB in large part because of you guys.

I'm about to switch to a storm (badly needed for work/travel), but am currently on a share plan with my girlfriend. She has a centro, and needs to be running palm OS for med-school. Online I can't seem to order a BB and still get a share plan unless I replace her centro with a BB. If I buy a non-BB, like the Touch Pro, I can keep our current share plan. The price difference is huge - enough to make me get a WinMo phone rather than a BB.

I plan to go into the store to get the new phone and sign a new contract. Should the rep be able to put a BB and non-BB on a shared-minute plan together, or am I SOL?

Hmmm interesting.. I just did a fake plan and it worked, although I did notice you MUST pick a data plan for the blackberry and you can ONLY pick the pay by KB option for the centro. I just did a basic family share with 700 minutes, 2 $5 messaging packs and the smartphone options.

Ok, I got it. My problem was that I picked phones first, then the plan. If you pick the plan first there's no problem, but if you pick a BB to be your phone, and THEN pick a plan the website seems to only show you blackberry specific plans.
