Angry RIM needs to invest in bandwidth

Please Login to Remove!

It should not take me over 30 minutes to download the latest service pack!!!
We are busy people and they are not providing enough bandwidth for Admin's to get the files we need to keep us up and running.

well with the television switch to digital there will be like 500 megahertz freed up. hopefully they will get some of that. bandwidth is at a premium right now. wonder why your internest is slow. because HD stations are taking it all up. in about a year things are gonna be very interesting. especially with barack pledging to improve in internet infrastructure (about the only thing good he's done so far)

Yes this will effect future devices but it has nothing to do with my computer downloading a new OS from RIMs servers.

We are talking about more bandwidth out of RIM for OS downloads. Not downloading to a mobile device.

ok well lets say your ISP buys some of the bandwidth... probably will result in you getting faster downloads... and a 4g network

If my ISP buys that bandwidth for my wired connection they are stupid. We are talking about the Internet here not cell technology. You may want to read up on it.
