just follow the steps in the link that was given to you, very simple process. Your giving up a lot of bug fixes to jump that far back. That's why I was asking what you were missing so much that was killing you to go backwards, just curious.

there is no "vendex.xml" file that i can find so i cant delelte any file like that cause theres no such thing in my computer

And at some point RIM will stop distributing/supporting 4.2. You can't stay behind the pack just because you want to. You really should try to figure out what you can do about the things you don't like at 4.5. Since you really haven't said what it is specifically you hate even when asked, we can't recommend any course of action.

i hate the texting..i hate how when you get a new message it makes it reallllly big..like the message text when its unread is huge and i want it back to normal. and the little black squares as bullets i hate that too.. i wanna fix it

Sorry to harp on this question but, what about the upgrade is killing you so much. Maybe if you shed some light on exactly what it is I can help you get around the issue, I am telling you from experience just like everyone else here who has updated 4.2 is outdated.

when you go into your inbox and have a new message, the text is CAPS and BOLDED. I hate that and think its so obnoxious. If i cant fix that i dont want it. i want 4.2 back

that is to alert you that it is new and unread, change the size of the font that you are using to a smaller font and see if that helps. I just sent myself 10 new emails to see what you were talking about and cannot for the life of me see where that would want you to take 20 steps back in technology. Again, try a different theme and see if that helps some, go to the media section there are tons of free ones. Hell go download plazmic 4.6 and build your own customized theme, it is very easy and you can make the text smaller in your messages.

Hooray!

Launch DM with your device connected. You will then be able to run an update, and it will install the OS that is available on your computer. If done properly you will end up with 4.2 on your phone.

This was all outlined in the 7 or 8 PMs that I sent to you. Please follow them as best you can before asking for additional help.
