Please Login to Remove!

well, i finally got my parts (rather fast i must say) i'm a newbie to the bold or BB in general but i just had to dissemble and reassemble it to see and learn and so i thought i might go ninja on it so i did.... ordered all the parts i need and did the deed... i'm sure there are a milli0m posts on how to do it (as i read them all) all i will say that the trickiest part was the mesh part , but i got that covered pretty well
OK, here are the pictures one by one and in steps...
please fell free to comment thank you!

thats it i hope you enjoyed
PS - the case - mate battery cover SUCK! i've replaced it again with the original one....

looks really cool, sorry to hear that battery door sucked. I think it looks pretty cool, maybe we will get lucky and someone will make a cabon one that is as good as it looks. I also love the theme you are using. where would one get that if he wanted it?

Thanks!!

I like it!

Any recommendation on tools needed for this process besides the tools shown in the small pics you posted?

I can see e coli bacteria in picture #5. Also, you have mites in your carpet.

lol...
ur guys are funny
i thought about taking small pics, but then i remember in all the million posts i've read that ppl are keep asking "how did u do this, how did u do that" well, with those pics u cant go wrong lol...
to the one who asked the theme: the name is: "balled scroll" it is free. BUT i've replaced the pictue with a picture named: Dark_Space (google both and u find them)....
for the guy who asked about the tools:
1 screwdriver
2 plastic card
1 tweezers
1 blow dryer
PATIENCE AND DETERMINATION
thats it
and oh, i got really mad on the crappy case mate back cover so i mooded the rims original cover....
this is the outcome:

You all belong to a cult... There is some strange fascination (not saying its wrong) with turning your BB black.

I love the way mine looks just curious why this is such a hot thing to do.

Mind you I love the carbon fiber battery door that actually looks slick. I hate them on cars... look at my cool red car with a black hood???? um my uncle has the same thing, but its because he can't afford to fix his car and gets parts from the junk yard. LOL I get the point of why people do it just sometimes I have to shake my head how bad we all want to be different or lighter

Good post might want to make thumbnails next time that go to larger pictures if required. that way user has the choice to see what ones.

Oh and your wife is pregnant in the second last photo.. yes I can tell that their that large and detailed.

I'm really kicking around the idea of doing this to my Bold too. The things that I keep getting iffy about is the warranty seal sticker. I have yet to see pics of a before and after of a succesful removal of one. Also, what in the world did you need a hair dyer for? You're the first person I've seen use one...
