I have two questions about SMS's :
1) every time I open a window to send one, I get two "To:" lines. Is there a way to revert to only one ?
2) When I reply to a message, I always have to to click on "remove history", to get rid of all previous messages from the sender. Is there an option to make it the default procedure ?

I have played around with the phone alot and have tried to remedy the same issues.

The extra address box seems to be standard. I don't think you can disable it. Additionally, it doesn't really matter.

I always remove history and but it seems to be actually a plus if you like tracking the course of a prolonged SMS conversation.

Just deal with it.
