Looking over my likes and dislikes of smartphones I have had in the past, the one truly missing item from the Blackberry stable to make it "complete" for me would be a desktop application like the Palm Desktop suite or the Motorola Phone Tools suite.

Both had the ability to plug your phone in and edit contacts, send SMS (this is the real feature I miss), and reconcile email without touching the phone at all.

Does anyone know of an application that does this with the Bold?

I would dearly pay to have the ability to SMS from my desktop, and pull the email off the BB without using a BES.
