hi,i want get my husband a black berry bold and i think(i'm not sure) its less expensive in the uk then in the uae .if i buy a unlocked BB from the uk,will i be able to use it here or is it better to buy one from the country your residing in? and
do these phones carry international warrenty?

You will be fine with an onlocked UK device but the primary warranty comes from the carrier for a BlackBerry.

Be forewarned though that some settings and programming features may have to be re-established. If you're buying if from a UK carrier, the phone will come with settings and programming specific for that carrier in that country. If your husband is very technically saavy and doesn't mind re-loading OS software and resetting all those features, then he might be fine. But if you think this would be a problem, I would recommend getting the phone in the country that you're residing in. I've been down this road before myself.
