I tried calling my Verizon Voice Mail last night,but when asked for my PIN I couldn't bring up the dial pad. So I checked BB Forums and found out how to program my PIN in to my phone options.

So now I can get past the PIN but when asked for a numerical entry to describe my need, I can't find the dial pad.

It's the little 3x3 grid button at the bottom left of your in-call touchscreen.

If you have some sort of screenlock app running, usually hitting the refresh/back hard button will enable that screen so you can access the aforementioned button.

Hey rdpaullin, when you hit the dialpad button you get the keyboard instead right? there have been threads like this the release of .114 and i believe it has something to do with talklock and .144 together. I can be wrong though.

If in fact it is a TalkLock issue, I ditched that for Screenlock, so you might try that app.

But yeah, I haven't jumped to .114 yet, so I haven't encountered such an issue.

TalkLock is a 3rd party application used to lock the touchscreen in case you inadvertently click it with your face while you're on a call.

If you go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications, you can determine if you have it installed.

Well as a work around I went with VisualVoiceMail from Verizon. I was told that when their .114 is released I should do another OS install and the bug schould be taken care of.

If you have 114 the keyboard is a bug in that OS. If you want you can downgrade to 109, or follow link below to get fix.

I have .114 (hybrid) and just installed TalkLock. I have the keyboard/dial pad whenever I need it, after I unlock the screen. I can lock and unlock, keyboard/dial-pad on/off at will. I don't know what you guys are talking about. Mine works perfectly with TL installed...

Yup..its not an application pre installed on your Storm...its a 3rd party app....if you wish to download OTA, on your phones browser, click on the bottom link.
