I installed TalkLock on my Storm; works perfectly with one exception:

When engaged during a call, it does not allow the screen to shut down for some reason, which would eat battery. Hopefully, this will work better on the next Beta release.

Yah me and many have had that same problem. Actually...I was wondering if anybody has actually stopped using Talk Lock. I did..and I guess I got used to leaving a gap...it still gets me here and there when I hold it against my shoulder..but no enough to make me install the app again.

I have it installed and don't experience any issues. The screen dims and goes out when I'm on a call after a while just like it normally would.

I'm running .114 Hybrid - wonder if that could have something to do with it. I'll try loading it again and see if the problem persists.

UPDATE - I just installed it once again and it seems to work properly now after testing...strange.

I don't understand why do you need TalkLock with Storm. Device does not have any keyboard button to push even accidentially so why to lock the keyboard?

If you hold the phone tight against your ear while on a call you could accidentally press the screen and activate the mute (or other buttons). It only locks the screen when you are on an active call.

Is there a way to change the wallpaper when TalkLock is up?

This is from the FAQ section of Cellavant's website. I changed the picture on mine. Just follow it to the letter and you should be good to go

How do I customize the background image on the lock screen?

Obtain a PNG format image file of your desired background. The image should be 360 pixels wide and 480 pixels tall. Save this on the device in the home/user folder of Device Memory with the name TalkLock-Background.png. You must do a full reboot before the background to restart TalkLock with the new background.
