Exclamation [HELP]Want to buy Blackberry Phone [New to it]

Please Login to Remove!

Hi..
I have been using Nokia Symbian Phones since 6 years now. Well, now I want to step into the Blackberry world and explore it...
So,what model of Blackberry is a good one ??

I was checking , BlackBerry Curve 8300 and BlackBerry Curve 8310 , as they both are in my budget range.

But not sure, which one,I should go for.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thanks..

1. Go with the phones offered by your particular mobile provider.
2. If possible visit a store and play around with them. For example, the Pearls and Curves are a bit different, so it comes down to which you are more comfortable with.

Not quite sure about the differences between the 8300 and 8310, but might want to check out Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com for a comparison of their specs.

They are essentially the same, but the 8310 has GPS.

Please ensure that you add a BlackBerry-specific data plan through your provider. Doing so will ensure proper device operation.

Wirelessly posted (My Bold)

Yea. Also remember that all devices of the 8000 series(8100, 8300, etc.) Are 2g devices where the bold, and technically the storm are 3g devices..

8330 should be 3G right (the one with Verizon)?

Ok, I may be a bit biased here, but go with the 8900 if you're with T-Mobile. Or find one that you can unlock. You really cannot go wrong with it. But yea, if you're going to go Pearl or 83xx Curve, its all preference. Welcome to the BB world.

All,
Please note that the original poster is from India. Suggesting devices sold by US providers is not really useful. Also, he mentioned he is on a budget.
