Hi,

I'm new in the BB World. This is my first BB so I have a lot of things to learn about BB.

I just setup BIS to get my mails. My question is right now, BIS is ignoring old mails that I have in my Inbox on the Mail Server. It will only forward new mails to my device. I'm just wondering if there is a way to get all my mails in the Inbox folder (and preferably all folders on my Mail Server).

My boss's wife is having the same problem as the OP.

So on Enterprise software you get all the old emails in your inbox but on something like Hotmail you cannot?

It was that way for a while, total PITA, when you add your gmail account and a gazillion emails get sent to your device.

You don't get it on Enterprise either.

That is really interesting. I wish there are more options on BIS that we can custimze it ourselves.

But other than that, I'm happy with the BB so far... Still a lot of learning to do (coming from years using WinMo device).

I know old work inbox emails showed up on my Curve that I activated 2 weeks ago. This was using Enterprise and Lotus Notes.

Yes, it can pre-populate up to 14 days or 750 messages depending how the BES is configured. However, chances are that's not your entire mailbox.
