Im from the UK. I bought an Iphone 9 months ago on the o2 network.
I have a low contract with them and a unlimited Iphone dataplan on the contract.

A few nights ago i dropped my iphone and cracked the top sheet of glass on it. I am looking into getting a Blueberry as apples repair fees are not worth paying for.

If i buy a unlocked Blackberry will i be able to use all the features / the internet on it? Or will i have to phone o2 cancell my current dataplan and see if they have a BB Dataplan available?

Welcome to the forum.

If you want to really use all of the features, you will need a special Blackberry data plan. Some people have some success with using the internet, etc., with a standard data plan, but that would only enable a subset of the BB features and capabilities.

In order to use the data functions on the BlackBerry, you need a BlackBerry data plan from your provider (O2). Call them and switch the plan. The data plans associated with non-BlackBerry devices will not work with BlackBerry devices.

ok, i have both the iphone and BB bold, so...

BB sim in iphone = no issues
iphone sim in BB = limited features etc.

so ask o2 to enable the BB features on your subscription, strongly suggested. :D check O2 – The UK's Leading Provider of Mobile Phones, Broadband & SIMs for details about their prices though, i think they might be different to the advertised ones because you already have the iphone contract.
