Default Any New BB Phone for T-mo...?

Please Login to Remove!

My 2 years are up and my pearl is well battle scared....uhmmm..like scars not afraid...LOL...... anyway......looking at Boy genius and Crackberry there seems to be a lot in the near future so I was delaying the upgrade to the javelin 8900 ....but am holding back.......

It seems that T-Mo is just so slow at getting any cool phones from BB....
Hence my asking is there any hope.....I really don't want to change to ATT because wife has a Samsung that she really like...BIG display and numbers easy for her eyes.....and I just don't want to listen to the yadah-yadah.....you married guys know what I mean right.....LOL...right.......????

Thanks look forward to some good news........

Not real sure of what TMo will be offering in the near future but I can tell ya I went from the 8100 pearl to the 8320 curve to the 8900 Javelin and I absolutely love the Javelin. Its an awesome phone.

Well thanks for all the replies......here's an update our company just gave us a deal of 11% discount w/ATT...!!! woo-hoo..... not to slam T-Mo but here in south Houston coverage over the last 29 months is just uh......suckie..... my sis-n-law's ATT 8100 has 5 bars inside Chilies and I get 2 and garble comms. I have to step out to the patio at home because as soon as I use the phone it goes from 3 bars to 2 and it breaks up bad.....

I would like to wait until sept. but yah know there never is a good time to get off the techie merry-go round there is always a better phone out there in the wings......

So now a terrible question to ask......Bold or Jav...LOL...??

I will use it for voice, e-mail web browsing, office document viewing ...... so I'd like to hear from you seasoned owners as to why you like your phone and hopefully you'll be replying because you use your phone as I plan on using it so kindah like an apples to apples comparison...(doh ---pun not intended...lol...)

Thanks...really appreciate the help.....have a great weekend......

If your gonna go with At&t anyway.. You cant beat 199 for the Bold. I was in the same boat as you..... I was about 5 months past my contract expiring and was gonna wait for Driftwood, but well, that didn't work as well in practice as I hold my shiny new 8900..... And I must say, damn I love this phone.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as I found another post and although we can argue the "Ford Vs Chebby" all day I found another post on topic and yep.....I'm gonnah jump to the Bold in a few weeks and T-Mo all I can say is "hope your coverage gets better some decade".....as fo me I ain't holding mah breath and that is the way free markets work ......well for now....... maybe not for long.........

Thanks everyone.......take care.......

I'm in the same boat. My Pearl is getting long in the tooth (but is still a great little phone) and I'm months past my contract. I think I'd like to stick with TMO, but I'd consider ATT if the service was really better. Plus I suppose my wife could get an iPhone.

I just went to letstalk.com and they have the Bold for FREE w/ 2yr contract....SWEET......plus a $50 BB recycle deal to boot.........
Thought I'd share that guess many already knew but for those that have not been there seems like the economy is motivating some good deals..... If T-Mo only had some good coverage here where I use the phone 80% of the time oh-well...... lol....have a great week yah'll
