Default BES Error Number List

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Im going to have a go at the BCP213 exam in the next few days and I was wondering if there is anywhere with a good list of errors or anyone who can give pointers.

For example from someones log on here -

Quote:
[40266] error blah blah blah
When I did the bes admin training at rim our trainer mentioned he could spot some erros just by the number and knew what caused it so guessing there are differnt levels, eg 2xxxx 3xxxx for differnt types of errors.

The reason i ask is that one of the other guys from our training group mentioned that there are quesions which say what would cause a 2XXXX error, which without having the knowlege base or any descriptive error to work from could be a pain.

Thanks

nope, no published list with everything.

Check out my blog ... this post is a good starting point: BES Logs ... Event log levels (KB04433)

Some KB's have error codes ... but memorizing them isn't going to do a thing for you on the test.

thanks

i bit the bullet and booked the exam for today, just about to leave for the test centre, i think ive got a fairly good chance with my existing knowlege and what i learnt on the training, have been studying and studying for weeks and thought I may as well do it, at least if i fail my scorecard will give me an idea of where i need to brush up...

wish me luck!

thanks

4.x just recently started playing with 5.0 on a virtual machine so might look at doing the 5.0 exams eventually.
