Default Wireless Phone Insurance

When I had my Curve, because AT&T would not insure it, I used Wireless Safequard whose website is now closed. Is there another insurance carrier other Wireless Safeguard that I can use to insure my BOLD?

Why will AT&T not insure it? Is it because you opted out of that insurance when you first got the contract.

I was told that the cost of the Curve was the reason that AT&T would not insure. I have since learned that my BOLD can be insured through AT&T for $5/month. Their policy must have changed. I will find out tonight when I call them.

Yep. IIRC, you can insure it through Asurion within 30 days of activation. After that I think you're SOL.

Radioshack (I think in Texas) offers accidental Damage insurance for phones now. Don't know if they do it in any other states, they said it was a "test market". only $80 with no deductible, 2 years. Anyone tried it?

Does Asurion replace the damaged phone with a new one or a refurbished one?

Try putting $5 in a tin can every month and not dropping your phone.

i bought my phone through Best Buy Mobile and they offer $4.95/monthly for cell phones and $9.95/monthly for smart phones, if you have any type of problems as long as it wasn't abused they will exchange it, if that model id not available you can exchange it for another phone of equal value.
