Every device has a different vibrate strength. I'm not sure what it is. It could be the differences in individual vibe motors, but I've found that every device is different. That doesn't mean there isn't something wrong with it. I once had an 8320 Curve that would vibrate stronger if it were held upside down and very weak when held right side up. The vibe motor went bad. It happens.
Mine is weak too.
On other phones I could increase/decrease this... looking for that option here but don't see it.
Also, i have a rubber protector around it, maybe that is muffling it a bit

I can't find it either and mine is weak without the case too.
My vibrate is extremely weak! Missed every call today sitting next to it on my desk. That doesn't seem normal. Anyone knows how to fix this please? Thanks!
Maybe I am technology-adverse. I loved my old blackberry, (OLD 8700). It was so easy to use, everything good out of the box, and still works like a charm three years later.
The vibrate is weaker compared to my Curve, but the Curve vibrate would vary in strength depending on the OS version that was installed. The OS controls how many RPMs the vibrate motor turns, so a future update may increase it and make it stronger (or make it weaker :( ).
I TOTALLY agree that it should be user selectable.
If you go into Profiles or Message Alerts and choose Custom for Vibration, you can select the type of Vibrate you want>... I have mine on Medium and it's not bad..
