We currently use AT&T for our sales guys who travel out of the country mainly because in the past, AT&T was pretty much the only carrier with GSM phones. Now with the Verizon Tour I'm looking into moving the AT&T users onto Verizon. How is Verizon's coverage in countries? They travel a lot to Eastern Europe, China, Korea, and Brazil. Will a Verizon Blackberry Tour work as well as a AT&T Blackberry Bold outside the US?

Verizon is partially owned by Vodfone, so a Vodafone coverage map should give you a pretty good idea of overseas coverage.

Outside the US you will be roaming on foreign provider. If you don't get a good signal, do a manual search under mobile network and switch provider. I do it in europe.
