Cool

michaelalanjones and ali both your bolds look awesome. My was about $100 for all the parts, seeing as white was the hardest one to find I couldnt order off cnn.cn which would have been alot cheaper. But im very satisfied with the end result. Great jobs guys, the mods look nice! If your looking for feedback: I find red on red is a bit too much, maybe a white keyboard of black would have softened it. But I mean thats just whatt I would do I still like it none the less. Feel free to leave feedback on mine, if you dont like it thats ok! Lemme know lol!

I just found all the white parts online not from colorware cause that place is too expensive. I even found a white lcd screen. I can't buy them yet but I will. That looks raw.

Oh wait, turns the website ships from China, nevermind, don't buy parts from China cause I have heard that they are bad. Well, actually does anybody have any experience with this website:

http://www.sw-box.com/

cause if its good, then I might as well buy all the white parts for 50 bucks.

Wirelessly posted

I haven't had any experiences with that site. White LCD did you say? Hmm I just might check that out. $50 bucks is a great deal. Maybe because I couldn't find the white parts together at a bundle cost I paid a bit more...not sure. Ill check that site out though. I hadn't had problems with Chinese parts in the past. I mean, I know that I'm paying cheap prices for parts so my expectations of the parts aren't that high. If it works good, bonus. If it just works then that's pretty much what you pay for. I wouldn't want to order something like an Lcd screen from China though, risky. These parts are just whatever and they actually are working good...for now I guess.

White on white looks great! Nice one! Is that back textured like the original black battery cover?

Keep us posted on cleanability.

Random idea on the new buttons falling off when trying to put the board in: Instead of using a soldering iron to melt the tabs, why can't you use sticky tape on the OUTSIDE of the bezel? Just press the buttons outwards from the inside, and apply the sticky tape. That ought to hold the buttons in place.

The only caveat is I haven't done a bezel swap myself.

I ended up getting my parts off ebay. The site I wanted to get them from didnt have white :(

parenthetical guy, the white back cover is the exact same texture as the black OEM cover. To clean it so far its not hard, I just use alcoholic wipes and its great. I just dont let the dirt build up so its not cake don or anything. I do admit having a white berry makes you double check when putting your berry down, and I pretyt much clean it every night. But I still think its worth it

Thats exactly what I used to stop the buttons from falling out while putting in the bezel, STICKY TAPE!
