I have 3 (of 5) lines in my family plan were the contract is up in a few months, now what happens after my contract is up?

Will the phone still have service or do I have to renew my contract with VZW?

That would probably give me more leverage.. Now th big question should/can I wait till Sept to get the Tour

If I get the Tour now, I will be upgrading one of the three lines, if I wait till Sept then I can just upgrade my line, and get some more money off the Tour... Decisions

Go talk to your rep. I have done that before. I also told him before talking to him "do not log onto the computer and do not log this in as an official contact" - "Tell me what is the best approach to take and how can I get the best deal with these given options."

The reason I did not want to have the visit logged is so I would not get locked into a price he quoted me. If it is logged - then the next time I went in for an upgrade - that info would be in the computer and who ever was there would go with that quote preventing a possible better deal.

Fortunately the rep I deal with has always shot straight with me

HHmm... That's a decent idea.

I don't know if the rep I usually deal with will do that for me thought... Their store got moved and he's really hurting for sales so I doubt he will budge on the price.. Won't hurt to ask though.

I honestly might just be waiting until August to get my Tour, since I get addition money off after I hit that one year mark... and I could just use the other 3 lines as leverage to get the rest of my family newer phones (Can't always thing about myself right.. lol) .. Unless I try and get that discount earlier then I'm suppose to.

I am actually going to go to best buy and get my tour, The only reason is they give you the mail-in rebate on the spot, and with the price matching, and two and new discount the tour will be less than $100 out of pocket with new 2yr contract. I have a pretty good contract and don't plan on making any changes to it, so I'm looking purely at the cost of the device.
