Using a slightly larger screen would actually reduce the pixel density unless you mean they should introduce some random new resolution just for this device just for the sake of the people that don't like the look of this one.

2. The keyboard looks to be that of the Bold styling. I was really hoping that it would be more of the curve (either one) style, just enlarged to fit the unit. This is obviously a personal preference, but most Blackberry folks I know agree that the curve is just easier to type on. Anyone else like to see the larger shift key back as well?

Personally, I like the original curve keyboard best, but the one on the bold and the tour both work very well and I am sure this one will as well, rim do have a pretty good history when it comes to keyboards after all.

3. The fake chrome boarder around the outside may look nice at first, but as I see my friends and family's Bolds chrome boarders get horribly scratched and dinged up easily, this is a huge turn off.

Just as a matter of interest, but what are your friends and family doing to their bolds, I never used a case for my blackberry and just put it straight in my pocket and the borders are still fine on it.
