I like Opera because I am used to it. I agree with Penguin

I know about google lol, was being lazy.
Just dl'd opera mini, it seems almost the same as the default browser, I think Bolt is much better and faster.

Opera Mini is currently the fastest mobile browser by a small margin, follwed by UCWEB, Bolt and Skyfire. All four server based browsers were much faster than the Nokia browser. The Nokia browserxxx8217;s numbers would have been even worse except for the fact that the site refused to deliver its full web version to the Nokia browser always redirecting to the much smaller mobile web page.

Nice copy and paste job. Wouldn't you like to give credit to the source of that text with the link?

Oh Daphne, and that was about the only decently correct post socialblackberry has made in 28 posts.
And he cheated and stole it. smfh.

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)
I really like Opera. I think its fast and am really impressed with their caching so when you go back to previous web pages, its pretty much near instant (no reloading required).
Not sure what's the current status of Bolt (beta?) but when I had it there were some bugs still. At the time I did think that it had a lot of potential for being one of the better alternate browsers.

I primarily use the native browser but I have the other 2 for those stubborn websites that only work on one of them.
Bolt is the most likely to work with weird logins or other things on the page. But I use it the least since it looks like the regular page on a PC which is often too much info on the small screen. On the phone I just want the info without all the ads, graphics, etc.
Yahoo is one website that I like much better in Opera. The BB one is too hard to navigate. The Opera one is simple and nice looking. Most of the time the BB version is the simplest.

I used Opera as my secondary browser for a almost two years, but when the most recent release of Bolt came out, I tried it and ended up deleting Opera.
My biggest gripe with Opera is the need to enter text fields like login/password in a pop-up fashion, then having to use Menu>Close to complete the action. Bolt is so much easier to hover the cursor over the field and type away.
At first I didn't care much for the smaller somewhat grainy font (size XLarge for me), but I found it was not that big a deal.

Unfortunately there is not a browser out there for BlackBerrys that makes me forget that I am on a BlackBerry. They are all "better" than the default browser, but that is not really a compliment. To browse the web on an iPhone 3G or 3Gs shows you what browsing is from a mobile device.
As of this post, I prefer Bolt to the other options.

This thread is depressing. I am about to start using a blackberry again after two years away. When I left, Opera wasn't great (it wouldn't give the user control of font sizes, but offered three dazzling choices: tiny, teeny-tiny and micro-tiny). Others were blah.
I was hoping Fennec would have come out in the two years they had to work on it. What happened to that?? Ok ok, forget it, I'll Google it.
