ok so sept 15th is supposed to be the release of .42 or something like that, maybe even better than .42 (im kinda new to this)..but how will we know that its out, and by when? will at be exactly at midnight, or will it be like tomorrow morning? and whats features can we expect? i know there is kind of a thread like this, but im just asking more in depth. thanks guys

I doubt it will hit at "midnight" since it's already past midnight in most of the world. As soon as an official update is released, I'm sure the forums will light up with the news. You can also use your device to check for updates. (Options > Advanced Options > Wireless Update) Don't worry though...it'll be here when it gets here...

Well...OS updates wirelessly don't come in till like half a day after its released, that's based on what I experienced with the Storm when they released that OS. Also, I'm in a little doubt that it will come out tomorrow. Usually there is some sort of advertisement, but again, that is just my experience when I had the Storm so nobody go off on me about how I'm wrong.
