Default Installing OS...

Please Login to Remove!

I've tried multiple attemps to re-install OS on my 8350i but for whatever reason it keeps coming up "fatal error" on the PC when it comes to installing cldc.cod ... Anyone happen to know why?

I've also used the JL_commander to start from scratch and nothing still get the fatal errors and on the device will either say reload software 507 or 561.

This also happens when I try to install the updated OS from Desktop Manager...

Thanks...

Adam

Did you delete the Vendor.xml file before installing?

Yes I did. I was installing an OS with my carrier too so i guess it shouldn't have mattered or something, but I tried anyways.

Ok go to add/remove programs on your PC. Delete the BB os that is installed. Re-boot the PC. With the DM closed and the BB unplugged re-install the OS on the PC. Open the folder where the OS is located and delete the Vendor.xml file. Plug the phone in. Then run the apploader.exe from the same folder.

The latest version of the OS can be found in a Sticky Thread at the top of the forum.
