I have a user who wants to be occasionally 'out of contact'; he doesn't want people to send Blackberry Messenger messages to him.
He is aware that he can change Status to Unavailable, but according to the Help screens, that doesn't prevent messages from coming in. This user wants to prevent Blackberry Messenger messages from coming in when he doesn't want to receive them. Is it possible to turn BBM on/off at will?

No, that's not possible. Is it that he doesn't want to get them at all , or doesn't want to receive the notification?

strange. I thought, since the Messenger uses PIN messages for communication, you could set the firewall to block all PIN. Then BBM is also blocked. But, this is not the case.

BBM is such a wierd beast ... here is a case and point ... my other is BBM logging.
