Default AT&T Update 4.60.304

Please Login to Remove!

I was pushed an update from AT&T. All seems good but I have some apps that come up as archived even thogh I am running them. I hid them but would like to rermove them. Trying to restore them seems to hang.

Thanks

Yes it looks as though it is currently only available via Desktop Manager. I'm sure it will be up on their download page within a day.

Yes, because this includes the Browser security fix. .297 does not

I'm curious, do you mean you block all of the service books that get pushed onto the phone? How is this done?

Every time I delete the service books, a few days later they are pushed back. I don't want them.

Also, does a manual update mean you can drop some of the pictures and some of the ringtones that aren't used?

I'm trying to learn as much as possible about the Bold. Thanks

drbb, you can't remove all those pushed icons, just hide them. I create a folder on the homescreen named "ATTJunk" or such, move the icons there and then hide the folder.
The icons take up very very little memory space.

A manual update/upgrade is when you download the full file and install from loader.exe
