I love how the 8700 themes are, and was just curious if anyone has been able to get them off the phone, and onto a 7130. Would this be possible? Thanks!

I don't think the 8700 themes will work directly with the 7130. The screen sizes are different.

Themes are skins for the presentation aspects you see on the phones. The look of the screens (colors, icons, etc).

If you are familiar with themes on Windows or the Mac or skinning an app like WinAmp, it's the same concept.

Look at the first post in http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=14164 and you'll see the various themes devices have on them.

I have seen 72xx series themes on a 71xx model, so it will fit, just fit more on the screen up and down. I wonder if someone can get the 8700 theme off of it, so we can put it on the 7130. I love how the battery and signal are on there.

I just got to look at an 8700, and the themes on it rock!! I love how the signal and battery are like wings. Wish we had those on a 7130 :(

Why not download the plazmic.com theme kit and try to create the 8700 theme and upload to your 7130. I still do not think is will work correctly without editing it for the screen size.
