Is it easy to unlock a BlackBerry 8230? What would you all recommend ? Where is a good place to buy and unlocked one online?

I am not even sure where to begin.
Where did you get the BlackBerry?
What carrier did it come from?
What carrier are you trying to use it on?

According to your profile, Tigo is a GSM carrier - a CDMA based 8230 will not ever work on a GSM carrier.

The majority of the world's mobile networks use a technology called GSM.
Others (primarily in North America) use CDMA.
The BlackBerrys are not interchangeable.

You're right, we are looking for a BB pearl flip (pink) in GSM unlocked for my wife who just lost hers. The other model is apparently discontinued.

Are there any other clam shell BB's? Or others with a covered keyboard?
