I have had a personal BB Bold with AT&T but it looks like I can get a BB for work through Verizon. I would like one similar to the Bold, how does everyone like the Tour?

Thanks

I have never used the Bold, but I do have a Tour (2 actually). I really like them, compared to previous models I've used (most recently the 8330 Curve).

BB n00b here, and I believe that I lucked out with my first one being a Tour.
No trackball issues for me.
As soon as I bought it, I encased it in an Otterbox, which while it increased the size immensely, offers excellent protection.
It does everything I needed a smartphone to do, and then some!

The Tour 2 will be out (my guess within a month to 6 weeks). It is very similar to the ATT Bold 2 if you want to compare. I would wait for Tour 2 if you can. The trackball is obsolete and is a hit or miss with the device

I have used a Bold and am using a Tour now. I liked the Bold, but 128MB for apps is too little for me. Plus the size felt a little too large for my palm. The Tour seems to be the best allround blackberry (unless you need wifi, in which case, wait for the Tour 2). I love the size, which is slightly larger than the Bold 2. On OS 5.0, it rocks!

Thank you, I don't need WiFi so the Tour should work fine.
