Recently I've gotten to a point at which one of my Blackberry users wishes to receive calendar items on his blackberry, but only those, and not the e-mail. My server administrator says it's quite possible to locate this somewhere on the BES server, but we'd prefer an option on user-level. Were not going to bother switching this option everytime one of the users wants to change this back and forth (approx 400 users, you get the idea).
Were currently using a Dutch version on the blackberry, so I'm doing a rough translation, hoping it to be quite similar as to what you experience on your menu's/options.
So after looking at all the options on the mail and calendar I found the following:
When I open the mail and open the options menu I go to E-mailoptions and the first options is "Send e-mail to handheld". It's current options are a simple Yes and No. When switching this to No I manage to receive NO e-mails, however, here come's the tricky part, neither do I get calendar items.
Still on the e-mail options there is another tab named "E-mail adjustments". Here I can turn off the wireless sync. This same option happens to be on the Calendar as well. So I figured that if I'd set the No to email, and the Yes to calenda that I'd get the problem solved. Wrong.
So, I was actually hoping if this were possible on the blackberry bold 9000. Current OS version is v4.6.0.247.
TL;DR version: Is there any option on the blackberry to turn of e-mail sync but to keep the calendar items comming?
