Yes, I have heard that with .411, you will have to do the sms and browser fix, plus vvm is not installed. I recommend you go with the latest beta .464. You don't need to do any fixes and it works very well. I'm surprised that a carrier has not released .464 as an official os yet.

assuming you mean .464, thanks. I'm downloading it now. My biggest issue is the keyboard lock, since I NEED to be able to lock my phone. hopefully it works.

I may be asking for a lot from the RIM developers -- but I was hoping to NOT have to use a password to do a Keyboard Lock.

This definitely isnt possible with .464? Cause if so, I'm leaning toward .411

Ok I did it haha. Went with the swedish .411 -- everything seems to work fine. Didn't have to do a browser fix...maybe I've always been using medianet and didn't know it? Anyway -- I don't use VVM so no issues there, and the threaded SMS seems to be ok...

An update: been using the swedish .411 heavily for a little over a day. Battery life seems the same, or better, and I haven't had any issues with SMS. Didn't have to do a browser fix either.
