I have a user who receives failed GAL lookups sporatically. This occurs when they're composing an email and looks up someone on the GAL. The person they're looking up exists on the GAL but does not show up on the BB.
That depends on how it's failing. GAL lookups require 2 characters to look up for one, if they put in the bare minimum, do they get back results but the person they're looking for isn't there? Does it not return anything? Does it say it has failed?
