5.0 MR2 to 5.01 MR2 on a VM

I have BES5.0 MR2 in on a VM. I have run the fixcdomapi.exe program and removed ESM and have also installed the hotfix for large .msi files that sometimes causes a problem with MR2.
Tomorrow evening i will upgrade to SP1
I plan on doing the following
Database backup with SQL2005
VM Image
Run sp1 and reboot- see if the maiboxes scan
run MR2 which i dont think requires a rescan
My backup plan is the image that will be created by VMmare.
Is there anything i am not thinking of ?
