Hi im new to the site, i was just wondering if someone can help??

I have a curve 8900 and im on my 4th now, im finally being given a new model Bold 9700 but i need to transfer over all my contacts as they will be taking the phone and old sim away )as new simw ill be 3g!)

I have about 200 contacts on my sim and 100 on the phone, i do not have access to a computer that i can download all the software, is there no way i can trnasfer all contacts to the memory card??

Can you see if the store can transfer them for you?

I know some carriers will do that for you for free.

hi, no they are sending the phone by courier and i have to give my old phone back at the same time! its ridiculous!

anyone has any idea if i can just transfer numbers to memory card????????

No, you cannot transfer contacts to the memory card.

the only option is to compose an email with all of your contacts in the email (names number excetera). Then, when you get the new one, log on to your email account through the mobile browser, copy all of that into a note, then copy each of them to the new phone 1 at a time. at the moment thats all i can think of unless you can find a computer to get Desktop Manager on.

Try Google Contact Sync. That should work. You will need to download the sync app via OTA and as long as you have a BB data plan, it should work.
