Hi. I might upgrade from a 9000 to a 9700. Do you know if the native PIM apps are dramatically improved, enhanced a little, or just the same? I'm hoping not to have to install something like Pocket Informant. Thanks you. (Ok, I'm clearly an ex-Palm user, and I'm so tempted by an iPhone or Android.)

i moved from the 9000 to the 9800 and the calender, contacts and email appear to be about the same.

I left Palm a long time ago, coming to the BB from the Treo 600/650. I use PocketDay on the BB. Was a tester for the initial Pocket Informant move to the BB.

The current iteration of calender and contacts do what i need them to do.

The only app I noticed that was on the 9000 but is missing from the 9700 is the "Do not disturb" app.

This can be downloaded and purchased from the bb app store if you really need it.
