Is there any way to have the device lock when it is put in the holster without a password? I do have the 'Lock Handheld Upon Holstering' set to yes. This will work if password is enabled but not without.

I had a curve prior to this and it locked without a password just had to enter the * and send button to unlock it.

Yup, welcome to the new world order. RIM changed that with the newer OS 5 releases.

5.0.0.602 is the latest known release to do what you're asking, which is why I'm still using that one.
