Default Push app to BB from BES not working

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting an app (Poynt) to push from our BES (4.1.6.23) to a device. I create the software config, etc. but the app does not push down to the device. I checked the device.xml file and I see the device (8330) in there. In the POLC log i see the following: GetHHCodePackages failed with the error: HHCM_DEVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED.

I'm lost at this point and hoping someone can assist.

Thanks

What is the version of the OS on the the 8330?
Does the version of the handheld OS you are trying to deploy to support the version of Poynt?

The 8330 is running 4.5.0.138. According to the Poynt people the app should work on any OS 4.3 or higher.

Yes to Device.xml (updated so I could activate a user with a 9800). There is no vendor.xml as it was deleted to enable O/S upgrades from different vendors.

I take that as meaning I should put back the vendor.xml file, at least until I need to remove to upgrade an O/S?

Thanks
