Default LOST BLACKBERRY. Need to get into .ipd files

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

I lost my bb today on the job. I immediately suspended service with t-mo, but realized that I likely have a LOT of sensitive information in my memo app. I'm not sure what exactly is there and which accounts I will need to cancel...

I backed up my BB several times recently and have located the .idb files on my computer. Without the handheld, is there a way for me to import them into outlook or palm desktop software to LOOK at the back up content?

Thanks!

There isn't a way to export an .ipd file into a readable format (Word, Excel..etc) It can be only read by a Blackberry device.

On a different note, but related to this topic...

Wonder if it is possible to borrow a BB to import an .ipd file so one can read it's contents and do what's needed to read the info? Once that's done, the user can restore the original data back on the Blackberry? Is that possible?

what about using a Blackberry emulator (from the JDE?) to import .IPD files and sync to your outlook or other PIM?
