My friend has a BB Bold and ALL of her pictures and videos have been wiped.
She was taking a picture and the picture wouldn't save...and when she went to look at all her other pictures they were gone! Can they be retrieved?? Why would this of happened??

Any feedback appreciated

Did she try and pop the battery out and then back in?

Yep, battery pull has been done..but it didn't bring anything back.

Not sure what model she has, but has the microSD media card been taken out and reseated?

It's a Bold 9780. Tried taking the sd card out and put it back in - still no sign of the pics/videos :(

Have you tried taking the media card out and putting it in a PC or another phone?

Media cards go bad. That's why it's important to do regular backups.

No haven't tried that, will ask her to do it & see what happens. I know to do backups, my friend..not so much lol - cheers
